First time this year walking the dog in a t-shirt (I’m in a t-shirt. He doesn’t need a t-shirt.)

Great stuff, Ness!
That’s such a great feeling, isn’t it GM? :)

My newt was to go for a run with a friend (ndellar) for the first time AND I ran 5 miles for the first time since April 2019 - all in glorious sunshine :) :)

That’s a lot of miles, Ness - I’m in awe, and I’d Lgj for doing such a long session!

We are having a cuppa outdoor and I haven’t got a jumper on. The sun is surprisingly warm when the wind drops.

Fab newts Woo :)

My newt is that, inspired by B-Lass on this thread or maybe elsewhere, I bought some clear whey protein isolate samples, as I can't stand the "milkshake" style ones. myprotein.com
the bitter lemon one is quite nice

- I'm not going all "body builder" and having tons of the stuff, but looking at the macros in my MFP diaries, I thought the odd drink wouldn't do any harm.

How you getting on with the creatine, Rosehip? I'm onto one 5g a day now- a lot easier than remembering four times a day. I 'might' be experiencing a temporary water retention thing (about a pound, poss two) but am holding nerve. Not conclusively proven as even a temporary effect anyway.

I think eight weeks before any real effect might be noticed.

Am doing quite a lot of training - but then I always do (not-a-newt)

Thanks for the link, RH. The discount code off-sets the delivery costs so I’ve ordered a few flavours to try.

My Flanchi skort and shorts have arrived. The parcel also contain a mini bag of Haribo (nice) and a pair of leggings which are priced on the website at £37.99, more expensive than either of the items I purchased 😲 I can’t decide if they are a freebie or an oversight.

starblackheartstar The sixth running of Do a New Thing for Spring starblackheartstar

Lent has a special and specific meaning to Christians but has become an secular season of denial and hair shirting that serves no positve purpose. No chocolate, no booze, no -er - other stuff.

Why not treat the build up to Easter - as a chance to celebrate and embrace NEW THINGS - that's what spring is about after all.

The first few pages of the thread give more ideas.
