This is a pic of Dill's hole
Apparently it's been around a while and he doesn't know how to fill it.
All suggestions underneath together with a timescale of how to complete the job and when it should be completed by please.

Fizz :-)
It looks like a very small task, requiring only a very small commitment, and a tiny bag of polyfilla . . .

What Fizz says. Oh, and leave enough time for it to dry properly before sanding back. Anything like the length of time it's taken to start the job should more than do the trick

If that's the remains of a rawl plug in there, remove it or push it in below the surface.

Looks tricky to me, once you've taken away the blown plasterboard, that's going to be a bigger hole, an not one i would fill with pollyfilla.
You need to make sure you prepare correctly and don't rush.

Is it plasterboard or brickwork?

It looks like lined plasterboard.
To the untrained eye an easy job. But this looks fairly horrendous to get right.
Could take some time.
