I’ve been out for a month and still can’t walk (or stand, roll over, get dressed etc etc) without pain, so think I can safely say I’m out :(

Oh, thats awful Metro_Nome :-( Was looking forward to a catch-up and a bit of last mile jousting for position.

Hope you have a route forward and it alleviates pretty soon. You're a mere puppy, you shouldn't be suffering this much.

I'm on my 6th week of physio. The pain doesn't seem to have eased much but it's allowed me to do more miles. More suffering!! :-)

Anyone else up for the D33?

I’ll most likely still be about to shout abuse at you. Hubby is lead bike :)

After a very last minute pull out last year due to injury, just put a sneaky late entry in :-)

You have to be careful pulling out at the last minute. Good luck to you this year, are you on sub-5, sub-4:30 form?

Not sure as I've never done it before - how would you say it compares to GO33 ( really GO32.4 ) ? A wee bit longer, but a lot flatter, so 5 or 10 mins faster ?
Probably in 4:30'ish shape for GO33, so that was the rough target in my mind, but see what the weather's like, etc.

I was 4:58 for GO & 4:48 for the D33, although for the latter I went the wrong way for maybe 1/2 a mile.

Ally, which bit did you go wrong at ? Are there generally marshalls, or signs, or spray painted arrows, or combo of all 3 for directions ?

A simple right turn with an arrow on the road, followed another runner. Schoolboy error.

It should be an idiot proof run, it’s pretty straightforward.

Can’t remember the set up for directions but it follows the Deeside Way walking route.

Lots of signposts.
