Have just checked the results that have been posted on Facebook. I’ve got the exact time I had on my Garmin. 5 hours 50 minutes & 2 seconds. I finished in 85th place.
I think that’s 3 minutes slower than last year.

That's great David, very well done. 3 mins with tougher conditions - that's a win! G

Did you enjoy Crathes Castle PR Ally?
So much posts on FB, it was great to be part of something so epic. Halfway was so quiet when I ran past this morning. Was sunny too. Given the conditions David that’s a brilliant time 🙂.

That was hard work.
And fun.
And very cold and very wet on Saturday.
Well done to anyone who completed (or even started) either d99 or d33. You're tougher lunatics than I will ever be, or wish to be! And the only sense of humour failure was in respect of the deceitful cheater who walked off with the d33 MV 3rd place trophy....

That’s kind, thanks everyone.
I would love to know how the other Fetchies got on, but I obviously don’t know their names. The only person I can track down in the results is Ian Minty as he uses his surname as his Fetch persona.

Ah, yes, I’ve been reading about that on Facebook Duchess. How awful. Still, reading Dod’s piece about the whole sorry episode, he is going to exact some revenge by trying to get them banned from ever competing again.

Well strictly speaking, the individual is subject to a 12 month ban from any event run under a UKAthletics (or country body) permit for running under someone else's number. But every race director has the right to refuse an entry (subject to usual discrimination legislation) and most of the UK ultra RDs know Dod...

5.40.11 for me David. Think that is 80th place. Ended up running with a friend the whole way round. So all the CP time splits are exactly the same for us both. He was a huge help. Got each other round. Felt bad at the end as my Garmin decided to flash low battery at 32 miles. So we both bombed the last mile. Think it was the third fastest mile of the whole race and two mins faster than mile 32!

Great times guys. I find the worse the weather is the quicker I run and I certainly kept running even on mile 100 because walking it in would have been freezing.
