I purchased a brilliant frame and groupset from Northern Exile which I was able to collect from him on our holidays last week in Pateley Bridge, then spent a couple of evenings putting it together. Fortunately NE had kept all the groupset instructions. I got hold of a second hand set off Mavic Krysiums from CStar too, so it turned out to be a real Fetchy project. I've just got back from my first ride and I'm feeling instantly quicker

Meglet Aug 2021 7:51am, 17 Aug 2021 21,974 posts	Quote Pin Meglet There’s a lot of personal choice and trial/error for shorts. A lot of people rate dhb (wiggles own brand), my favourite is Castelli. I’d also recommend a good chamois cream and check your saddle is correct, both the type of saddle and the position, especially if you’re getting numbness or pressure in places other than the sit bones. Other than that it’s time in the saddle!
