I'm curious as to how it will cope with running alongside the counties in the T20 blast? Seems a bit much to have two domestic competitions doesn't it? Also whether the fact that England test players won't be playing much.

Apparently it will only last a fortnight. I can't see the necessary fanaticism being generated, particularly in south east corner of the country, where Kent have to pretend to be part of Hampshire.
I could buy us (Essex) being part of London - I could get genuinely excited about that - but we're instead a feeder to some ungodly Surrey/Middlesex hybrid.
