Well done. I think I saw 2 wickets out of 8 on the Friday at Birmingham, loo, beers, food.

Yes, you can't keep doing that, especially when it matters.....we'll see. I reckon if we get away with this game he'll keep his place.

This is still a very dodgy top 5 for England. Root and Cook have demonstrated their class, but when they fall early, it's92/4 time again.

If only there were an experienced top order Test batsman who could come in and hold things together at, say, number 4. Ideally, he'd have to be from the Midlands, not very tall and good at an Elvis sneer...

TMS and BBC live text are debating over rates, and Boycott's proposed 105 over 4 day Tests. With all English Test grounds now having flood lights, play until the overs are bowled. Too simple?
