You should do what the players do and move to supporting Notts TR 
I'd like to see only those qualified to play for England in Div 2, might help the standard overall.

Well, a day to go before Ian Bell's final test match....
Guess we start to see what bayliss is all about now. Traditionally now that Johnson et al have got in our heads we'll capitulate every time. Hoping that we may put up a bit of a fight instead.

1985 was my favourite. Me and a mate went up for the 5 days and lived in his Vauxhall Viva throughout. Cracking 5 days, I remember us nearly getting nicked for vagrancy and also getting chased round the Bull ring by skinheads.
On the cricket side I remember Richard Ellison swinging the ball like a banana and bowling the Australian top order out in a morning, and a peerless Daddy from one DI Gower.
