Yes it was vaughan, I think that was true, provided we held up well in the 4th innings just gone. I think we're shot, they looked all over the shop, Cook, Bell, Balance, Stokes, Ali, Root evenplayed bad shots through state of mind. I don't see england quite getting 500+ either, 350-400 yes maybe, so I think if we win the next toss we won't get thumped, but Australia win. If we lose the toss, we get thumped.

Yes, we got 430 at Cardiff and won by 160-odd runs, compared with the Aussies getting 566, declaring and winning by 400-odd.

A win is a win, I'd take a run victory and 2 rained off tests to win the Ashes :¬)

I'm going to have to agree with Geoffrey - I'd rather lose the remaining three tests over 5 full days than win or draw them due to rain-shortened matches.

Let the best side win. Never mind England!

Bairstow in for Balance the only change. Very sensible.

Still have Rashid in the squad but think they will be conservative and put Bell to three and Bairstow at 4 or 5.

Good win!

We're going on Sunday; never seen women's cricket live before; quite looking forward to it (and it's a tenner!)

They're not as strong as the boys, so it stops mishits for six; overall, a little more skill required, which is nice.

Indeed, I saw the women's team play the Aussies a few years back, in a game at Bristol. Yes, not so powerful, less pace on the ball, so a little more maneuvering of the ball and more of an accent on field placing. The thing I noticed was just how good the fielding was, Also yesterday, there was a little bit more of pace bowlng and little more of hitting over the top than when I went.

Very very good value for £10.
