I never said he *was* a legend in my interpretation. I was presenting a point of view to a fact-free populist statement And pointing out that cricket =/= England Men's Cricket team. Have we learned nothing from Partygate? |

Not at all. But I grow tired of the pontification on this thread that only certain things are acceptable in Cricket (and by Cricket, I mean the England Men's team - and only that judging by the complete lack of interest in the women's test currently taking place and the lack of moaning and whinging about dropped catches that would invariably happen if it had been a men's test). If people are going to say stupid things, then I should be able to point out that they are stupid. You are free to rebut this of course, as you have done. |

You should argue with yourself (as an internal thought process probably). How else do you come with a proper thought through argument otherwise. Otherwise, you end up with a mess surely? |
