Shame I am a decided armchair rugby person, even though I played a little bit, and even then only on the BBC. I don't think I have seen a live England game since England V Canada at Wembley, or when Gloucester list to cheating Saracens.

BTW I saw Aggers and Boycs tour a few years back, Aggers was no more than ok, but it was better than Swann and Blowers by miles.
Tuffers might be ok, but looks a bit like money for old rope.

I can see (and hear) Murrayfield from my back garden !
That is part of my issue though, I have lived within a mile of Murrayfield for all but 2 of the last 30 years. Whenever there is an international game on I am impacted by the rugby crowd which can be frustrating.

Used to date someone who lived by Drayton Park. Was a nightmare going home when there was a game on

I think the last live rugby international I saw was Scotland's record pasting by the Aussies back in the mid-80s some time. Mind you they've had bigger record pastings since. As for cricket, one of England's rare ODI wins in Australia (Hick century rings a bell) when I happened to be there for work, India vs Pakistan in Mancs when the countries were virtually at war (atmosphere at the ground was fun) and the infamous Amir no ball at Lords, which was just absurd even when viewed from our seats. He was so far down the pitch he could almost have handed the ball to the batsman.
