Doesn't seem to apply to any cricketers, WG at a pinch.

I *think* I said a couple of pages ago how glad I was that the WAshes was getting the proper TMS treatment. I follow it, but not in the same way as the men's team... I often know the golf score but I don't like it much or follow it in the same way as some other sports. That's life for all of us, no? We prefer some things to others and for a number of us here, we grew up following a byegone age, which we have a bit of fun recalling. I don't think that makes us all recidivists, but I guess you're right to call it out if you think it's there.
Aggers as a legend wouldn't have been my hill to die on, mind

Language moves on. In the 2020s I think Phil Tufnell's lack of ability with bat and in the field rate as legendary.

I’m spread too thin over too many sports to really go much beyond the men’s international side in cricket.
Hence not following the County game or the Women’s. Suspect my entry point into both will be via the Hundred, definitely got more than a flicker of interest last year.
If that makes me an unworthy low life worm in Fozzy’s eyes I’ll accept it as a badge of honour.
