Burns does well in an odd way...he could have been out 10 times ..but at least he Carries on regardless. His bat waving is incredible and the way he peers over from outside leg is very odd indeed. I cannot see him bring reliable, and he got hit in the head twice today, England will need stretcher bearers in Perth !

Interesting decision for NZ to make here. 272 ahead with 2 sessions to play. If England had say Stokes, Roy & Buttler, you'd think twice about declaring, but they're also a team that can easily concede 10 wickets in that time too...

England's chance if winning is to chase a gettable target, even this lot, they all do it. T20, all the time.
NZ's chance to win is this or setting a huge total that England's fragile minds cannot cope with.

I hadn’t realised the game was still on. It’s raining so hard here that I assumed it was the same at Lords - it’s about 30 miles as the crow flies.

It's suddenly got v tight at Headingley in a game I thought Sussex were blocking out for a draw.
Dom Bess bowling well by the looks of it.
Should be good for him going forwards having to bowl in this type of situation, no matter the outcome.
