Where did the story about the tweets come from in the first place? Maybe there is a good living to be made out of following the tweets of teenagers and collecting them in the hope that later on they become famous.

Good grief. PM now waded into it. I'm predicting that "culture war" will be trotted out in some publications... |

Definitely worth following young up and coming sports people. Grab their names and nab the domain name for resale later and also review their social media for a bit of blackmail/extortion down the line.

^^ That's the bit that makes me feel uncomfortable about this situation Cheg. Someone has obviously waited until "the right time" to release this to the media. That said, I'm a little surprised that England Cricket aren't doing past social media checking. Not that it should stop someone being picked, but so that the ECB could have instead of the statement they came out with, they could have said: yes, we're aware of this, xxx has apologised and agreed to these redemptive measures/training etc. |

I'm a little surprised that his agent hadn't checked this kind of thing out long ago - it will surely affect sponsorships and so on. At university, I lived next door to a former England opener, now a tv commentator, and know that he did far worse things than this at the age of 18. |
