Trouble with going for maximums is it can lead to a lot of outs.

um
Unrelated to playing cricket .. but I turned up to the Hilton at the Aegeas this morning, with my daughter for a PCR test, supposedly at the hotel. A very smart doorman was waiting as we pulled up - with an air that he wasn't expecting anyone wanting access. Turns out the PCR testing was in a caravan in the carpark, and the Indian team had occupied the whole hotel. No-one else in or out. Not even the nurses doing the PCR testing, who up until the Indian team arrival had been getting coffees from the hotel.

I guess it's a quarantine cricket bubble as per last year.

The rain appears to be concentrated over a place halfway between TRO's house and the ground. Or 'Chelmsford', to give it a name. Or 'my house', to be more specific.

I look forward to Aggers observing that we shouldn't play cricket in the South in June.
