I reckon England should play all their tests in Ahmedabad. As day/night games.

Never went to the one at Hampshite, I must admit it looks good and wouldn't mind a visit. Trent Bridge really is my favourite, especially since they added the stands, Old Trafford is now the worst of the biggies now that TB has upped it's game.

After events earlier this week, I'd argue we should play all the Tests against India this summer at Trent Bridge. On one of those green pitches from the 80's that Hadlee and Rice used to love so much.

Mind you it's been a very long time since I went to Headingley...that could potentially be worse.

OS - Headingley have done major redevlopment.
The whole western terrace was done about 10 years ago, there's a new media centre (that looks weird), the whole East of the ground has been redeveloped and they're currently doing the Rugby stand.
It might even be finished by now.

Fair point Fozzers, so I would also argue that we insist that Silverwood, Root and Smith select their teams and go into every Test with 4 spinners.

Yeah, I know, I think it has been that long since I went there, got to be 12 years, 'redeveloped' doesn't mean 'good' , see Old Trafford.

On the subject of bigger grounds being better, we could always get some of those drop in pitches and play at Twickenham?
