No negatives on this thread that I have ever seen..all tongue in cheek.

England to panic and lose by 20.

Embuldeniya must be one of the calmest test players ever. Takes a wicket, barely a flicker, gets hit for a six, nothing, catch is dropped, nothing.

**IF** England go on to win.... Good point from Vaughan on TMS - yes, although this Sri Lankan team isn't great, for England to win 5 tests on the trot in Sri Lanka (2018 & 2021) would be a good achievement.

And although they won the 2018 series 3-0, they won the toss in all 3 of those tests and batted first.

In these two, England have lost the toss in both.

It was a good toss to win in this match too. Slow and no turn on the first couple of days,

dried out quite significantly by day 4, as we have seen.

I thought Sibley would work out a method.

Dan Norcross is off on his "Buttler is god" flourishes in his commentary again.

None of the other non-Asian test nations have managed a clean sweep test series in South Asia since England did it in 2018, either.

Last time Australia won a series in Sri Lanka, Ricky Ponting was captain. New Zealand haven't won a series there since 1984.

Might be over today now.

Feeling confident about an England win now even if a wicket goes.

Sri Lanka sounding tired.

If SL can pull it back from here (6 wickets for 10 runs for them to win) I'll be impressed. Not sure if it will be by their bowling or the quality of the collapse required, but I'll be impressed.

Well played England. Didn't expect to wake up to not many for 7 then ball them all out. And then knock off the runs relatively easily.
