Having said I was spoilt for choice, I'm not if I limit my choices to those that have played since the late seventies. I doesn't seem like we've had any decent fast bowlers for decades.

Collingwood, got to be near the bottom...Gatting also near the bottomm, took ages to get going

I'd guess brearley (just sneaks into fetch's qualifications playing his last test in81) would be least efficient (for a batsman) as he never got a test ton.
