Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I'm looking forward to seeing Buttler at Lancs as I've said before, particularly in limited overs.

Liking that stokes gave Faulkner a send off. The lad has got a bit of spice in him.

FFS.

I am so stupid; and never learn.

Got up Sunday am fairly early, knowing that the rain was due 10:30-11:00ish, and thus wanted to get long run done and dusted beforehand. Switched the cricket on....we're going well and look good for victory.....thought I'd watch it through and see us nail the win, the run can wait. Good news has been so rare on this tour, so I couldn't miss this.

Only for Bopara and Tredwell to fuck it up, then I notice that it's started pi&ssing down...

The final, crowning turd in the waterpipe of perhaps the worst tour I can recall for being relentlessly bad.

Think Bopara was a tad unlucky with his dismissal ... Wade simply failed to gather the ball and it fell onto the bails. The run-out of Bresnan maybe not so. Tredwell is a no.11 so can't be blamed ...

Indeed, they lost it when Morgan got out, earlier on, once you're in the tail and they get a strok of luck like Bop's dismissal anything can happen. They messed up int he middle of the innings...

ah well

I see Cook is being rested....

Bop's innings was too slow. 2 runs off first 20 balls? Think they went at a run an OVER for 4 overs when he came to the crease.

He was so negative, only scored off a dab to 3rd man IIRC. Clarke could have 6 men in the circle and the wicketkeeper up with no risk; a terrible match losing innings even if the actual dismissal could be called unlucky in its manner when it finally, inevitably, came.

Tredwell in a batting helmet looks like a shy, nervous hamster peeping through the bars of its cage. Nothing was more certain than our failure once he strode to the crease, I think everyone knew it.
