I enjoy watching American Football as a game, but don't care much about the stats and matchups that make cricket and baseball so much fun for me.

It is interesting that while cheating in cricket is low tech, but betting scandals seem to be a very real risk, baseball has sophisticated cheating but very little talk of fixing. It can't just be the century long shadow of the Black Sox keeping baseball straight.
