Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

The class of 85, that was an awful vintage for the Aussies! :)

May include from that series:

Murrray Bennett
Bob Holland
Andrew Hilditch

I went to couple of tests in that series, LOL, I only remember Wood. The others must have been truly dire...

F**king hilariously thick, that bloke Wood. We used to get him out by posting two people down to the boundary for the hook, send down a short ball and he'd hook it down their throat, every time.

Morning Tea, morning everyone

Right, let's have 'em this morning.

I think Cook and Root could both get centuries today and i would love Bell to do the same, but perhaps on Sunday after a rain affected Saturday.

Yes, it is incredible to think what a state they were in AND Boder was in charge, yet 3 years later they were kicking our arse righy up until 2005. However, it would say they just had a rash of batsmen/bowlers come along, Warne, Hayden Martyn, Waugh(s), McGrath, Langer, Jones, loads of them, it can happen again.

That's why I think England have made amistake here, they should have picked 1 Debutant, and stuffed them......

Tremmers would have made a big difference. No vent of an easy bowler while the others took a break.

That was Hilditch TRO. You won't be surprised to learn he never played for Australia again after the two Hadlee dismissals!
