Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Good point, Sharkie. We've used H&B to get supplies on the odd occasion when Mr Ness has forgotten to put a web order in.

You've just reminded me to order some more - I ran out just as we went on holiday. This is the one I buy, and I add it to my breakfast:

I tend to put mine in my first coffee of the day or just put the powder in my mouth and then swill it down with some water. I'm still amazed by it's complete absence of taste.

OK. I'll trust you all, and give it a try. Will let you know if it doesn't make me strong, fast and cognitively enhanced.

I take 5g post run, along with my electrolytes. I did try taking 5g a day initially, but I found that I got a few odd cramps in my legs and feet. A known side effect for some people. So now I just add to my post run drink. Having said that, I'm pretty much running 6 days a week at the moment, with no noticeable side effects from the creatine this time round. Is it doing any good? Difficult to say really as I have "tweaked" so many things in my running over the last two years that its hard to pinpoint any one thing that has made a positive difference. Will I keep taking it? Yes, probably, it's cheap enough and I'm running well and strong, so I don't want to upset what's working for me, even if I'm not sure what bit of it all is right :)

I'm not disputing that you had the cramps, but cramping as a side effect of normal dosing of creatine has been dismissed as a myth and in fact, the opposite has been shown under differing circumstances, creatine should lessen incidence of muscular cramping, especially in warmer climates.
