I am very ill with "normal" flu: aches, shivers, fever, a cough from hell, sore throat, no appetite. Since Friday evening. Not been this ill in years! It isn't Covid but because I have been so careful and isolated since March 2020, I must have picked something up on the Ferry on Tuesday.
Run down from a long journey and first exposure to people carrying bugs in 2.5 years.
Sigh!
Not the family Christmas we had hoped for!
I stayed in bed Saturday: we celebrate xmas eve, but my sister and family went to her MIL. Her son that lives with her lied about noro virus and now all 11 of them have a stomach bug!
My sister was supposed to have gone skiiing today... So incredibly irresponsible! There is a vulnerable 89 year old in the mix too!
🤬🤬🤬
Haven't they learnt ANYTHING???

I cannot believe this idiot R 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 his 89 year old mother with lung issues has gone through Covid restrictions because we were all super careful now she has to sleep sitting upright in the bathroom 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬

Merry Christmas & Happy New G(rrr)
Noro virus is incredibly unpleasant and dangerous to an older, weaker constitution. Very irresponsible. Sorry to hear your Chrismas has been spoiled too Hann. Get well soon. G

Thanks D2!

I can report an improvement on my own health: I managed a dog walk, I am dog sitting! And am feeling better for it.

About to check in on my sister's MIL.
