Oh no. Timing sounds rubbish. It’s all guidance now but I was told to stay home for five days. Today is day six and was still positive last night.

The other two in my house have had covid and so they have felt ok to be around me

It’s all quite vague now but I made the decision not to leave my own house or garden until I test negative.

I had previously decided the chances of catching covid outdoors were extremely low. However thinking over my movements I must have picked it up outdoors.

Hope you are ok

Happy use your common sense. If you feel up to it, Zoo would be fine I would say. Just don't go inside anywhere and don't get too close to anyone outside.

Bad luck HappyG, personally as you have a virus I would take it easy next few days, anyway you may not be up to doing much. Plenty of ventilation for car drive home plus masks for everyone else in the car. You can get it more than once so don’t assume your family are safe.

Happy - the variants are all quite different and a lot of people are contracting CV19 for the second or third time so I'm afraid the others having had it won't necessarily keep them safe. Hope you don't get too ill.

No rules (um...that's England, but I think Scotland is now the same?) but it's worth taking seriously as an illness both for yourself and for infecting others.

Bumped into a local friend yesterday who is suffering quite significant after-effects. Previously pretty fit triathlete type who is now unable to do more than walk the dog and seems to have some cardiac issues a few months on from covid some time this spring...

I agree with above, take it easy. I would suggest don't go to the Zoo, for your own benefit, you would be best resting and I think it is also still a small risk for others even though you are outside. Just my opinion though.
