Interesting to see the BBC running an article about a HCP being frustrated about the hoops and online training they are required to do - I know how it feels from that side but I would have thought it would be reassuring to the general public? bbc.co.uk

It's fine, 6000 Sun readers have signed up to do the jabbing. They seem to have got round the paperwork

A friend of ours is a recently retired school nurse. She has spent a week trying to offer her services as a volunteer without managing to get hold of anyone who is interested.

TRO-Welcome 2021-cen
If the stuff I have seen reported is true then I’m not surprised HCP’s are frustrated, it’s bureaucracy gone mad. They want to get on with the job, and know what is required training to do the job properly.

They don’t even need to train me - I know my application is progressing as a friend let me know she’d been contacted for a reference yesterday - so they’re working through the bank holidays, but it does all seem slow and torturous

They wouldn't recognise the SMT I did in May, I've had to repeat that as well as complete the new stuff.

lf - I completed an expression of interest form and was contacted to arrange an interview about a week later.

I hope whoever gets round to jabbing me doesn't also try and radicalise me - or let me radicalise them while they're doing it ( #15)

I did all those modules a couple of days ago - to be fair it lets you take the assessment first and only go back to the module if you don’t pass, so I rattled them off in a couple of hours. The trauma was trying to upload the certificates which were all in different formats. A couple I could only do by printing them, taking a photo with my phone, emailing the photo to myself then uploading the photo from the laptop. I nearly gave up then
