We've just had an email which is basically "do what you want" - you can still come in if you want but don't have to.

My sister in law has got covid who I saw the other night and she said I might get pinged by the app to say I've been in contact with an infected person as she had to fill a form when she got tested with who she has been in close contact with and 10 minutes later I was pinged. Did the covid online questionnaire and it said I don't have to isolate but recommends I have a PCR test.

It woke me up when I rolled over in the night and was quite sore first thing while I was running. A dose of paracetamol helped and I'm going to take another dose now. Hopefully it'll be OK then

TBH most people I speak to have lost any confidence in anything the Govt says any more and are just getting on with their lives as usual. Farcical emails and texts from T&T yesterday telling me I'd been pinged last week, but not where and when, and that I should isolate for 10 days. How do I know for how long if you don't tell me when? and I've mingled with God knows how many people since anyway. On further investigation being 2x and now 3x vacc'd, I'm obviously exempt anyway. Totally pointless. Vaguley sore arm from 3rd vacc, but otherwise no reaction again.
