Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Yes, keep checking Fields. I was being offered miles away but a local one just popped up this morning and now it allows you to check availability before cancelling.

My mum and I were in town (Newcastle) on Monday as we walked past the vaccine centre they were literally dragging people off the street who hadn’t been and wanted to be vaccinated. They succeeded with a coupon as we were outside and they were so good explaining to people about it. So might be worth while checking for walk-ins.

Indeed - As I was booking it came up with 23rd (no good for me) and I clicked back to try another site and the 22nd suddenly had a slot free.

Good for those in urban areas - The nearest centre is 20 miles away from me.

They work on as the crow flies so I get offered Clacton as it's "30" miles but that's a long swim across the estuary!

We kept being offered the Isle of Wight here in the Southampton area, but think that may have been rectified.

Totally and for perspective Newcastle is about 15 miles from me my nearest is 6m to get a ‘walk in’ I had to get a ticket and go back later in the day then queue to get in.

OH has his appointment tomorrow. Here's hoping for no side effects for him either.

Not the last time I looked forest plodder. My mum who is in her 70s, lives in that area is about 7.5 months since her second jab is still waiting for her booster. We were trying to arrange a lift for her to a drop in center but the nearest offer is IoW, or maybe Reading. Chaotic mess :(

Many, many of my neighbours have had the double jag (booster & flu). Worst side effect was a sore area around Covid hag
