My first Christmas present was a Santa hat with integral knitted beard. Superbly practical headgear for those cold chin days and had its first outing at Parkrun. Now back home, the turkey is in the oven. Must go and join in the merrymaking. Merry Christmas!

Been for a bike ride. Everyone we passed was full of festive cheer! Eaten some Christmas tree shaped brioche for second breakfast. Will start cooking turkey in a bit!

Festive (no, scratch that) - windy and muddy - Coastal Path walk with Jess the dog and Raffo the true love.
Some of those parkruns today - and any other outdoor activities - might be a bit blowy! Have a blast wherever or whatever you're up to.

Festive parkrun done with hubby (kids came and watched!) I wore my new Garmin - which just uploaded everywhere afterwards with no complaining!!! (I've been using a TomTom this past 2 years!) and my gorgeous Bright Red Fetcheveryone Hoody!!! Bloody love it!

Seasonal injury. Dropped a knife on my foot :-(. OH bandaged it. Now lying with foot up issuing instructions to elder child on how to cook Christmas dinner.

Merry Christmas all!
We did Cardiff parkrun this morning (Mr J went for it, I had a nice run chatting with a lady I’d never met before). We did presents when we got back. It’s just the two of us so nice and chilled out.
We’re having chicken rather than turkey, which is in the oven, and the spuds are par-boiling as we speak. Mr J is currently complaining about his one contribution to cooking (for the whole year), which is chopping the carrots and parsnips 😂
