Probably lemonade, or ginger ale might be quite nice?

Just collected the turkey from the farm shop. Ordered a 2kg one as only the 3 of us but when I picked up it up she said it was a bit bigger than we ordered but no extra charge. I looked a bit enormous, I weighted it when I got home an it was about double that! 😳 I guess the suppliers are over stocked with large turkeys with all the smaller gatherings. Plenty of leftovers for the freezer then.

My Ocado shop just came (I stayed up half the night to get a slot on Christmas Eve!) - everything there. Phew. Our daughter is vegan and is staying with us (we are a bubble) so we just eat vegan main meals as it’s easier all round. J and I sneak in eggs and dairy when she’s not looking.

Yeah, I ordered a 3kg turkey crown and got a 4.6kg one. We’re going to be eating turkey for a while if it ends up being just the two of us...!
