Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Mer-Rae Christmas
I didn't realise that the one little beer I was going to have before getting on with the doing of useful things (a La Chouffe Winterbier, if you were wondering) was actually 10%.

Ah well, maybe no spinning and weight lifting this evening now.

I know, I'll play with sharp knives instead.

I also didn't realise that the wild boar ragout takes nearly five hours to make.

Might save that for boxing day.

The mulled wine is warming. We had some earlier on our walk, but that is no reason not to have more ;)

We’ve got Carols from Kings on, playing through the monolith speakers and fancy amplifier my husband recently bought, the log burners going and the cat’s half on my lap. And I’ve got to get up and start making dinner soon :(

Log burner going, candles lit, fish pie eaten. There is chocolate log for pudding but probably not for me as I'm not keen on chocolate. I'm contemplating what to drink first.
