in North Wales - sunny cloudy a bit of wind, good marathon weather me thinks . if only this knee ache would go. My dilema is whether to use my lovely new Saucony grid omni with lots of new support which ive walked in for last few days but no runs, to use them and risk blisters, but hopefully be better for my knee.
or
use my existing grid omni 500+miles and risk knee pain hindering the run & no blister risk .
i think its ibuprofen & ice pack anyway
I did a short 4miles ish on the course yesterday -easy gentle run , but wheras usualy the knee eased up , it felt a bit achy 4 or a scale of 10. Just hoping its all taper madnesss, Maybe its just marathon 13, but i have been good, been to church and prayed for everyone not just me.

I would go for the new ones! Why would they give you blisters? They are the same shoe. 500+ miles is not going to leave much left for comfort.
Only you know what works for you though.

Rob, if there the same running daps as normal I'd wear them, your 500+ are f*cked. Feel decidely shit today, put it donw to not running since thursday...............
