I'm in week 4 of my plan - it's ok so far but as it's a beginner sub 4.30 full marathon plan (and I'm doing the metric) I've adjusted the paces quite a lot as they are a bit easy.

yeah, bad luck it was, the result of a fall and a nasty impact on my kneecap rather than any biomechanical issue....I have however now managed a few shorter runs with walk breaks and no reaction and I hope the physio on Friday gives the green light to step things up

Me too Baz :-(

I'm about 30 sec/mile off the paces I was in May for pretty much the same effort.

All coming along nicely at the moment but with Chester not my A race for the autumn I can afford to be a little more relaxed and enjoy what comes of it :-)

Naturally I'll be making it up as I go rather than following a plan.

Baz, you'll be good to go come Oct...

I'm doing Ok and looking forward to it. Getting the miles in, must be about a month into trying to follow some kind of plan. Endurance is good but speed less so. Trying not to get too worried about that as its a marathon.

Baking the miles / filling my boots when I can as I will have some interruptions to training through the summer holidays.

Hopefully all good Baz.

This thread reminds me that I need to get my entry in at some point :-)

Plan is to 'have a go' at Chester, loved the course last year. I'm doing Yorkshire as well the week after so that will be a slow one, but not done it before so just aim to enjoy/plod round.
