News just in, the Edinburgh Marathon is going to be 5k in order to smash the 2hour barrier for a marathon. Its also going to double in price from last year to reflect the quicker course

I'd love to do the relay again but really £120 for a team seems pretty steep (though I guess its £30 each but still).

They haven't manged change very well in the past. In fact they often muck things up that stay the same as well
If I had already entered I would be worried
Like the year the originally advertised grandstand finish disappeared off the website and then a new finish with no spectators was announced. Oh and the large TV screen to show the finish for spectators didnt work due to either the weather or a fox chewing the cable.

52 laps of Arthur's Seat? It'd be like a cross between a track marathon and a trail marathon.
