We socialised our antisocial kittens with lick-e-lix to bribe them into staying on our laps. Or Dreamies.
Yesterday evening Ellie and Kyri were eating Dreamies together. She still hisses at him but I swear she actually likes playing with him too.

Cats for the first 2 decades of adult life. GC specified a dog next, but wait til one of us retired... Then WFH happened and we now have a dog shaped pet. And a foster dog at the mo for extra fun/complexity. Happy with either, and getting my cat fix here

My housemate and I are desperate for a cat. But we live in a rented 1st floor flat, on the crossroads of two major roads - and are planning to move when the landlord inevitably puts the rent up in November, so no cat for now.
Need the housing market to chill out so we can get a house. And then two little cats.
