Teddy would sit on dads bed/ feet when he was ill
They really know
Animals are amazing… the way they can be trained to smell illness and help out

Lasya arrived in my life when I started descending into increasingly serious illness. She was extremely supportive. In fact, I am not sure if I had had the will to fight if it hadn't been for this kitten

I only wanted a cat cos I didn't particularly like them so wouldn't get too attached. That didn't last did it

Haha LF!
I got a cat because I really wanted a dog but cannot have one... Now I have become a total cat lady. Cats are far superior to dogs...

This morning the Nori potato consented to sit on my lap and have double handed fuss for a whole minute, purring away like a lawnmower.
I couldn't get a picture as I suspected that if I stopped fussing with one hand he'd be off.
I don't think it'll be long until he's a fully unfledged lap cat.

that's brilliant Rae!
I've always been cats over dogs Mr Pix has always been dogs over cats but allowed me cats as I was WFH and company for me he now adores his cats but would still like a dog when he retires but that's years away

I like both cats and dogs. Unfortunately, hubby's allergic to cats though he likes them too.

I also definitely bat for both team cat and team dog, but I'm slightly more a cat person.
I love the honds, but I wouldn't have got them if it weren't for Sam. He's the same about cats - he loved 'Nny, and is loving the kittens, but left to his own devices he wouldn't have adopted them.

Managed to get pics of both critters enjoying some lap fuss
Miso
Nori
Nori is a already too much of a chonk to be easily scoopable with one hand, which does make it trickier to enlapify him, but if I ignore him he has started to put his mind paws up on my chair or leg so I'm anticipating independent lap invasion any minute.
