Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

SK, we have a top loading large wicker basket for vet visits - still have to wrap one of them in a towel to stand a chance of getting her in. The other is very slightly more cooperative, possibly because the vet gives her snacks and she’s more food obsessed than her sister...

Thank you beebop. I’ve rescheduled the appointment to next Thursday so we can get a different carrier. Had been thinking to wrap in a towel too: she’s very small really but very wriggly and her claws are vicious.

Of course, when you don’t need to take them anywhere, they’re quite happy to get in the basket...

I got up to a feathers and blood all over the kitchen and living room. No sign of the bird. I suspect it has been digested. Not sure which of my gross cats is responsible but I'm looking at Katarína.

I'll be getting them both a collar of shame (bright red buff for cats that scares off the birds, apparently). Bells are doing nothing.
