Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Ellie's usual morning snooze spot, on top of the sofa cushions. The sun brings her hidden ginger stripes out.

Great pics.

Ours are friends with us again. They've not been out this afternoon as Cedd wasn't confident to supervise it alone.

They look happier now they are allowed out.

Cats not in boxes: failed to get Ellie into the cat carrier for a vet visit. Took Caspar instead (booster jabs) but will still need to figure out how to force 4kg of sinew, tooth and claw into a place she doesn’t want to go.

Thinking to get a carrier with a top opening, it must be easier if I can just drop her in?!

They are easier but they do splay legs and twist round to scratch your face in their panic. So speed is of the essence

I put the box on it's end for Shelby and grab his back legs and guide them in. By that time I can normally stuff the rest of him in.

My other two were at the vet today for their boosters. Apparently Poppy bit the student and Merlin wasn't very happy. He's lost a fair bit of weight, so they were going to get some bloods but failed, so I'll have to make another appointment for that. I also have to give him a tablet 1.5 hours before his visit to make him a bit sleepy. Wonder where I put the chain mail.

Don't want to think how we do that.

Boba has been lazy today bit he went out for 10 mins before. Think he's a bit sleepy in the heat but he's eating and weeing and was alert and happy before tea.

Bib likes our tree height walkways.
