He lay there the whole time and even tried to grip onto the edge of it when I was putting him back in the box, although when he realised we were going home he did get back in rather quickly

Poor Gizmo.
Louis had a heart murmur, but it didn't bother him much. Eventually heart failure did for him, but he was seventeen, which is very old for a Persian.
Newish cat Tilly also has a murmur the vet says, but it's nothing to worry about according to her (the vet, not Tilly).

Pablo had a heart murmur but it didn't bother him at all, and his eventual demise at 15 and a half wasn't heart-related. Ellie might have one too - vet is not 100% sure as she said sometimes it's just a sign of stress in the vet surgery.
