Now, he's forcing his way into my bedroom and sleeping on my feet and insisting on a good hour on my lap first thing in the morning. Is he frightened I am dying or something?

They seem to get more clingy and cuddly, and Jemima, who's never really been a lap cat, will sit on my knee now. Jerry always wants to sit on my knee at meal times but not because he wants my food (he won't show any interest in that).
