'Nny used to snuggle under the duvet, usually in the crook of my knees, but he lost those privileges when he bit my bum one night.

New cats aren't allowed in the bedroom because they get the 3am zoomies, and have been known to piss on the dog beds when the dogs aren't on them.

I can't keep Lasya out of the bedroom: open plan mezzanine. She treats the duvet as her cat bed and at night, she snuggles up. The colder it is, the closer she gets. Under the duvet, in the hollow of my lower back is her favourite. Or the crook of my knees. A permanent kidney warmer, what is not to like?

My mums cats sneak into her bedroom and, while oneโ€™s ok (although also has a penchant for licking faces), the other insists on strokes every hour. Ours are banned to the kitchen as one likes to keep us awake by howling and jumping on us from various heights!

Iโ€™m hoping the vomiting Sunny was just down to a change in diet as no vomit so far today. ๐Ÿคž

Lasya is remarkably gentle and never wakes me up while avoiding being squashed!
She realises I am ill, so doesn't even ask for food. She knows it will come eventually, when I go downstairs, which is when she starts making a serious miaowy fuss ๐Ÿฅฐ

Bib always sleeps with a hooman. If we are out and I think she has settled on our bed I sometimes use the smart plug to run the electric blanket for an hour for her.

I took Edda to the vet as she had a large lump in her stomach that seemed to be filled with fluid. She has a hernia which she was probably born with and they will repair when they sterilise here.

Another defective cat to add to our collection, bless her.

Little miss timid boots is currently sitting on my knee, purring away, and protesting if I try to use both hands at once to type instead of clapping her.

Iโ€™m sorry to hear about Edda, ITG. I hope it doesnโ€™t affect her quality of life.

Nah, not bothering her at all, CK

(Assuming you meant the hernia and not the deprivation of petting while I type.)

The deprivation of petting sounds horrendous! ๐Ÿ˜บ
