Fold the extra rope as normal, then tuck into the loop, push the slider along to secure. Can't think of another use unless it's to hold your tea towel to dry.

At the weekend I set up the internet (I think) and so the TV now has usual channels plus Netflix, Disney+ and Youtube. Amazon to be sorted on Friday (didn't have wife's password). We didn't have TV in our last one. But we then didn't have two (young) dogs either then. So we expect to be spending more time in/around it rather than as a base for exploring the local area as we used to. Don't want to knacker the dogs too much. Just clothes and food to add in and off we go!
