Ooh, where do you find out your start position / bib number? I qualified in 3:11 ish, so will I be in same wave / corral as you Steve, do you think?

I'm planning on 3:45 or poss even slower to just enjoy it. I presume I won't be in trouble running much slower than my qualifying time, will I?! :-) G

If wave 2 is 3:07 to 3:27, I'll be expected to be at the "quick" end of that and I won't be. But presumably that must be OK as there could be people who are injured but just want to do it anyway, etc? :-) G

I wouldn’t stress over it Happy, although you can always drop back wave/corral if you really want to. You’ve earned your starting slot, run your race😃

And I also get the sense a lot of people tend to view Boston as a “victory lap” and don’t race it as hard as they did to qualify.

I've just seen in Member of the Month interview that Jigs says that Boston 2011 is his PB. 2:46:27. Maybe try asking him? He's done Rotterdam, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Edinburgh, Berlin, London, and not got as good a time! Could be many factors but worth asking? :-)G

Wow, how did you know that Bazo? Did you just remember reports at the time, or chat here in Fetchland? Good to know, that with perfect conditions, it can be a course for a decent time. That does mean that the hilliness can't be *that* bad, if it is possible to PB, even if with a bit of a following wind? :-) G
