Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Err. Has anybody else noticed that the weather forecast for Monday in Boston in predicting a high temperature in the 70s? That's too hot. Let's hope it doesn't warm up too early (or the forecast is wrong).

Never expected it that warm ! Foxy, looks like we won't manage that beer at T5. My flight leaves Aberdeen at 1130 to Heathrow.

Good luck, every one. Looks like it will be a tab warmish. I looked at the Boston area forecasts from various sources, and the predicted high temperature s ranged between 78 and 88 degrees F.

Due to the unusually warm weather conditions forecast for the Boston area on Monday, the BAA will defer the entry of those official entrants to the 2013 Boston Marathon for participants who decide not to race.

This applies to official entrants only, and official entrants must claim their bib number packets at the John Hancock Sports and Fitness Expo through Sunday evening at the Seaport World Trade Center in South Boston.

In order to receive a deferment for 2013, race participants may not start the race.

No refunds for the 2012 entry will be given. All entry fees for 2013 must be paid. In addition, the BAA will keep the finish system open an additional hour on race day.

Whereas the finish systems generally cease just prior to 5 p.m., this year the finish systems will remain open until approximately 6 p.m.

Does anyone know if there is an online athlete tracker for the race? I can only find the text alerts thing on the website.
