Oo I'm on 1971 next. Finished the troubles for 1970. Not very short and quite messy and distasteful in places. I enjoyed it for all that

Just passed on 3 books to a charity shop: Nod, The New Confessions, and Confessions of X. The Namesake nearly went too, but at the last minute decided to pass it on to whichever one of my children I see next (other than Middle Son, who has no interest in novels).
