Well. I think discussions should open on the 1st of October.

No spoilers allowed.

But a reader could do a trailer as long as it wasn't a spoiler if you get me.

So you could say ... 'am up to page 115 and I. Am.Gripped. OMG'
or conversely, 'Am struggling to get past the first chapter of this turgid nonsense.'

Which are judgements with no substance behind them.

And if group members were itchy to post and chat before the 1st of the month they could:
A) write a short and pithy crit of the book they'd like to nominate for the next month?
B) write a short and pithy crit of their last least liked read - therefore saving others time and expense. Or conversely making others doubt their judgement and causing them to slit their wrists in despair with the rubbishing of all they held dear.
Maybe not the last bit.

Is it not the case that Dio gets to nominate next month's book picker?

Why? Because that 's the way 'proper' book groups work?

I was just making suggestions. I'm not bothered!

Hmm, i'd have thought you wanted to discuss the book as you went along really, so chapters 1-6 for 1st-7th sept, then 7-12 for the following week and so on, otherwise you end up reading a book for a month then talking about it for a month, then start another book...

I have a tendency to over organise. Perhaps best to post what you like when you like.
