Seratonin Oct 2023 9:24pm, 11 Oct 2023 45,380 posts	0 Seratonin Hot tip for anyone who liked the film Heat (a Michael Mann heist film with Robert De Niro, Al Pacino and Val Kilmer) I picked up Heat 2 on the Kindle store a few weeks back. It was co-written by Michael Mann with author Meg Gardiner. Just finished it and I have to say that it is a fabulous read. The book is written on a dual timeline and tells the story of the characters prior to the Heat film and also the events in the years afterwards. A Google algorithm popped up on my phone today and it appears that Michael Mann is planning on bringing the book to the screen. Yipee

I have to have an occasional break from it as I'm finding it too intense for me currently. I'm breaking it up with The Sanctuary which has a John Wyndham style about it.
