Hot tip for anyone who liked the film Heat (a Michael Mann heist film with Robert De Niro, Al Pacino and Val Kilmer) I picked up Heat 2 on the Kindle store a few weeks back. It was co-written by Michael Mann with author Meg Gardiner. Just finished it and I have to say that it is a fabulous read. The book is written on a dual timeline and tells the story of the characters prior to the Heat film and also the events in the years afterwards.
A Google algorithm popped up on my phone today and it appears that Michael Mann is planning on bringing the book to the screen. Yipee

I've got about 80 pages left of Rabbit, Run. Hopefully will finish early next week. I have to have an occasional break from it as I'm finding it too intense for me currently. I'm breaking it up with The Sanctuary which has a John Wyndham style about it.
