Always wear gloves and don’t lick the stamps
(there’s been no need to lick stamps for years, but I bet there’s some still doing it)

I have stamps and envelopes. You could always leave it on the doormat for three days till the germs have got bored

Pick it up with tongs and microwave the packet for 15 minutes on full power should do it
