Also, not wanting to steal Bint's sacred choosinator duty, but as we're all currently stuck at home/in the immediate vicinity, I think we ought to put choosination on hold until the lockdown comes to an end.

To my suggestion then. Completely happy to be shot down in flames. :-)

Well, we're all inveterate book buyers and hoarders and we all have a massive TBR pile (or several). So... for April, how about we all post a picture of our TBRs, or one of our TBRs :-o and we let the Book Group make a suggestion? That way we get our TBR piles down a bit too. We still write about and review the chozzed book.

Too many people? Well, we could just get the choosinator's list and choose for the next person along

Columba chooses for Bintmcskint
Bintmcskint chooses for Bazoaxe
Bazoaxe chooses for Chrisull

Chrisull etc..

Whatcha think?

I like this idea. However, my local book shop is still fulfilling online orders, as I expect are many other, and would no doubt be glad of continued business.

Also, the libraries may be shut for physical loans* but you can still borrow eBooks and audiobooks, which are still also available from Kindle and Audible and other places.

Finally, don’t forget the self-published authors from whom you can order directly.

* autocorrect wanted to render this sentence as “libraries may be shit for physical lions.”

Like it. Some of us might have the same book on our TBR pile and can read it at the same time.
