I will pick him up and do the next leg with him, so will be in better position to report. So far the schedule and route is exactly as planned, about 25 minutes up.

I see his current schedule is only allowing himself about 6 hours longer, ie 1 hour per day. Given the darkness, cold, potential snow/ice then that's a tough schedule !!
