Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch
or for an ad-free Fetcheveryone experience!

Attempt at a "proper" double BG (i.e. one full CW round followed by another both starting and finishing at the Moot Hall) going this weekend by Stuart Walker of Dark Peak. Midnight Friday start and a nominal schedule of 22.30 and 23.00!!

Blimey, that’d be some going. I assume he’s done a quick single BGR before?

Hope he gets some decent weather for it :)

The weekend is forecast to be decent although I'm sure all the places that CAN be soggy underfoot WILL be soggy underfoot because we've had lots of rain in the past week.

Definitely. Out of curiosity, how far in advance do you guys plan your rounds, and if the weather turns, would you cancel/postpone or 'manage' it as best you can?

Some are planned months in advance with accommodation eg booked then. The more I’ve seen of Bobbing the more I believe there are weather conditions (wind and rain) that make a completion unlikely for all the the very strongest of runners. Postponing makes sense if you have that type of weather (I have first hand experience of such conditions)
